Belonging Around the Dinner Table w/ Juliana Tafur
The holidays can bring warmth, connection - and some very difficult conversations. Just days after the midterm election, join Juliana Tafur for a practical workshop on bridging differences around the dinner table. Through science-based teaching and guided practice, we'll explore how to listen across divides, stay connected without pretending we agree, and bring Columbine’s mission into the relationships that challenge us most: Bold Love. Hands-on Hope. Deep Belonging.
Doors open at 5pm
Potluck 5:15-5:45pm
5:45-6pm Transition/Kids go down/clean up
6-7pm Workshop with Juliana
Juliana Tafur is the inaugural director of the Bridging Differences program at UC Berkeley’s Greater Good Science Center. She works to strengthen social connections across lines of race and ethnicity, politics, religion, and more—fostering a culture of understanding and belonging in the United States and beyond.
